Alulight is a 3-layer paint cycle where the varnish applied contains photoluminescent properties. The photoluminescent paint contains special pigments that give the surfaces a high degree of phosphorescence, capable of absorbing energy throughout the day, mostly UV Rays, and at night this energy is then released emitting light anywhere form 6 - 9 hours. This photoluminescent transparent coating can be applied on any polyester finish, however, in order to get the maximum effect of this paint, it is recommended to use it on a light background the white colour is recommended. The background colour is one of the main factors to be considered: according to it the light emission will be higher. By applying the phosphorescent paint on a black surface, the effect is almost erased. This product is suitable for many fields and applications such as safety signs where maximum visibility is required in emergency situations or even on the ceiling of one’s home to have the star light effect at night.
